Meet Dr. Fred Kutnick

I specialize in the gold standard treatment for OCD, anxiety, trauma, and phobias - Exposure Therapy (ERP and Prolonged Exposure). Formerly under the supervision of Drs. Milton Brown and Jason Weingarten at the DBT Center of San Diego, I have received extensive training in evidence-based, compassionate frameworks (DBT, CBT, and ACT) that effectively confront anxiety and trauma-based thought patterns through emphasizing your known strengths and discovering your hidden ones. As partners in this process, while I bring the expertise in treatment, you bring the expertise of knowing yourself.

I take an active role in helping you achieve the change you wish to achieve. The wisdom you bring into the room is valued - even the parts of you that are difficult to fully grasp. Most importantly, I cherish the relationship we create together, and I strive to create an environment where you feel connected to me and the work we’re doing.
