Treatment for General & Social Anxiety
Compassionate, Shame-Free Treatment That Works
I work with individuals struggling with OCD, intrusive thoughts, rumination, and compulsive behaviors that can feel difficult to control or escape. My approach incorporates evidence-based treatments including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and exposure-based interventions. Together, we work to understand the cycle of obsessions, anxiety, and compulsions while gradually building the ability to face uncertainty and discomfort without relying on behaviors that provide short-term relief but keep the cycle going.
OCD treatment can be challenging, and I believe effective therapy should be both evidence-based and compassionate. I work collaboratively with clients to develop exposures at a pace that is challenging but manageable, while making space for the fear, shame, frustration, or exhaustion that can accompany OCD. The goal is not to eliminate every unwanted thought or feeling, but to help you change your relationship with them - developing greater flexibility, confidence, and freedom to live according to your values rather than the demands of OCD.
